our memorial garden

Our Memorial Garden is a large ground area immediately surrounding St Mark's Church and is bounded by two parking areas and two sidewalks.

The St. Mark's Memorial Garden contains a large Cedar of Lebanon tree, a large Celtic Cross and a Meditation Path.

The St Mark’s Memorial garden is a modern version of the old Anglican tradition of burial in the churchyard and is mindful of the Biblical statement, “ashes to ashes and dust to dust, in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection into eternal life”

The Memorial Garden provides a setting of tranquility and beauty.

Cremains of the departed are interred in the Memorial Garden in a plain linen bag hand embroidered with a simple purple cross. The current cost for interment is $1000 for each person.

You can make your request for a place in our Memorial Garden by contacting our Priest, for more information.
