Interfaith Work at St Mark's: Loving ALL our Neighbors

Anglicanism has a long history of creating space to understand and appreciate the differences between people of other faith traditions.  St Mark's has created relationships with other local faith communities and organizations to learn more about other religions.

Welcoming the Stranger

Many passages within scripture talk ofwelcoming the stranger.  Our teacher, Jesus the Christ tells us to love God and love our neighbor.  In baptism, we are called to respect the dignity of every human being.

In learning to love our Muslim neighbor our our Sikh neighbor, we learn more about our own faith as well.  Through diversity and relationship, we learn more of what it means to love our neighbor and serve our one God.
